This is my go to spot in Corpus for drive through Mexican good. In a sea of taquerias, Agave Jalisco stands out above the rest. Good rice, beans, thickkk homemade flour tortillas & the avocado hot sauce is definitely a must!

This used to be my go to place for mexican food in Corpus. I never had a bad meal and everything was always fresh. I have been 3 times in the past couple weeks and each time left disappointed.
1) The chips are different and taste cheaper. They taste like Tostitos restaurant style chips that I can buy at HEB. I asked, this is permanent going forward.
2) Tortillas are now bought, not homemade. In a town where you can find a taqueria just as easily as a gas station, why would I go to one that has bought tortillas. That was very disappointing and made my tacos taste like something I could get at Fuzzys or taco bell. Just brought the whole meal down. I asked and this is permanent going forward.
3) Noticed the past 3 times (I would always try different things) that the meat was now over-cooked, dry and without flavor, eggs over-cooked, my call in order was jacked up and made horrible. So I asked if they had a new cook. And yes they do. I understand it's hard to keep a good cook, but this is just too much a difference in quality between the two.
Would love to give this place another try after all the good experiences I had before the changes, but I will at least wait for homemade tortillas. And hope for a new cook, even though unlikely.
They pretty much lost a consistent customer and all my friends and family that would go to this place too. -

Worst place to go eat no homemade tortillas worst service in customer service and food took 40 minutes to get my food

I came through the drive through to get some of this stuff it's right by our house and I've been wanting to try it for a while. So they have a lot of options here and tbh all of it was good I enjoyed everything the price was a little steep and they weren't the best tacos I've ever had but I'd go back w out a shadow of a doubt. Not too much more to say other than that it's good man it's all good I'd like to have some tacos w a beer on the inside next time I go.

DO NOT COME HERE! Hostess was rude when we asked if they were serving and item still she just said "I don't know" and rolled her eyes. The waitress came to our table twice only to give us our drinks and food and did not give us refills. The Caldo was cold and the meat was cold. The waitress messed up our order and took 15 minutes to bring it out. Then there was no free chips or salsa what kind of Mexican restaurant is this. The tortillas they gave us with the caldo were super hard and burnt more like tostada shells not even tortillas!
